Arrival day in Paris
On arrival at the airport welcome and transfer to your hotel in the center of Paris. Free time to relax and wander in the lively streets around your hotel.
Introduction to Paris
After breakfast, meet your private guide for an introduction of Paris with a walking tour on the Islands (Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis). Your guide will introduce Paris’ history while walking in front of many famous monuments. You will start with the Ile de La Cité where the Sainte-Chapelle was built to protect the relics of the Christ. You will also be able to enter in the gothic jewel, Notre-Dame Cathedral, dated from the 12th century. If you feel courageous enough, you could also climb the 400 stairs of Notre-Dame Towers and admire the beautiful view over Paris from the top. You will then continue to the Ile Saint Louis, where the French aristocracy used to live in private mansions.
VIP shopping tour
In the afternoon, meet your private guide for a shopping tour. Visit the emblematic fashion quarters of Paris— Rue Saint-Honoré, Le Marais…—accompanied by a stylist, combining the history of the quarters and the heritage of French fashion with the latest trends and collections. You will receive exclusive access to many boutiques and discover their latest collections, history and stories of their most famous clients.
Paris market tour, cooking class & lunch
In the morning you will have a cooking class in the Latin Quarter. The experience starts with a typical Paris market tour. Then you will cook in a professional kitchen where you will learn some technics of the French cuisine. The cooking class will end with a convivial lunch all together. During this experience be part of the Parisian lifestyle for a few hours. Make the most of your afternoon to stroll along the cobbled streets in the Latin Quarter.
Journey to the Loire Valley
After breakfast you will be transferred to the train station and you will take the high-speed train from Paris to the Loire Valley, a great way to see the French countryside. After dropping off your luggage at the hotel you will spend the afternoon discovering the charming city of Amboise. You could discover the Royal castle of Amboise and even the Clos Lucé, where Leonardo Da Vinci used to live at the end of his life.
Discovery of the 2 iconic Loire Valley Castles
Discover the Loire-Valley culture by visiting the most famous castles with your private guide. In the morning you will visit Chenonceau Castle. The unique architecture of the Chateau of Chenonceau makes it one of the most exquisite Chateaux in the Loire Valley. In the afternoon you will be driven to the Estate of Chambord, a national game reserve as large as the town of Paris. The chateau de Chambord is a unique monument by its architecture and proportions. With more than 400 rooms and its double spiral staircase, Chambord is a highlight of the Loire Valley.
Private organic wine tasting
After breakfast, meet your driver-guide at your hotel for a private organic wine tour in the Touraine area. Your guide will take you to a selection of small winemakers of Bourgueil, Vouvray and Chinon appellations, producing organic or biodynamic wines. After a gourmet lunch you will discover another part of the Loire Valley for more wine tastings.
Train back to Paris and departure to the US
