A winter event not to be missed!

From the 22nd of February to the 22nd of May 2017 in the Napoleon Lower Basilica of the Louvre, Vermeer and the masters of paint genre offer both poetic and everyday scenes. Enjoy a stay in Paris to discover which 12 of the 36 listed paintings are exhibited at the Louvre.
The Louvre Museum located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris is the largest art museum in the world, exhibiting over 460,000 artworks with more than 8.6 million visitors per year.
Johannes Vermeer also known as the Sphinx of Delft (1632-1675), a Dutch baroque painter, displaces many people in this unmissable Paris monument since the beginning of the exhibition.
His sensitivity to colors and details reveal a subtlety through scenes of domestic life. By his side are the impressive and similar works of Van Hoogstraten, Pieter de Hooch and other painters of the Dutch Golden Age. At the same time similar in techniques and in choice of subjects, Vermeer differs from the other artists through the mystery and the familiarity of these seized moments.
This exhibition aims to reveal the similarities and sophistication of the artist’s work but also the competition between them, which surely contributed to their quality.
During your luxury stay, enjoy a guided tour to immerse yourself in the world of one of the greatest artists of the Golden Century.
